A friend of mine brought out this cool new toy for the water it was an air chair. He told me that you can get lots of air on it. Being the Kneeboarding air junky that I am I tried it. Well let me tell you I hated it. It proposed up and down and tossed me all over the place I had no control. So you can probably guess I threw that thing off my boat real fast. But a few weeks ago I was reintroduced to a new product the SKYSKI well let me tell you I was so comfortable on it I was tiring flips the first day on it and even getting real close. So my advise is try the skyski first unless you like to take an extra beating on yourself. |

| If you are a normal wakeboarder getting decent air using a normal pylon, how much more will you get using an extended pylon? Most of it depends on your own skill. When you learn how to edge progressively and really load the line for that upward pull, you lift 5-7 feet higher than with a normal pylon. If you haven't learned how to edge and load the line right you still will jump 2-3 feet higher than with a normal pylon. You don't only get higher with the extended pylon, you also gain extra hang time (almost a full second). It will be easier to learn new tricks because you get more time in the air to do it. |
